The Centre for Canadian-Assyrian Relations expresses its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims, their families and the City of Toronto. We are deeply saddened for the lives lost today by this senseless tragedy.
From our brave Police, Paramedic, and Fire Services personnel, to the faceless heros at the 911 dispatch centres for Police, Ambulance, and Fire, everyone worked together to save as many lives as they could. For that, we are forever grateful as a community, a city, and a country.
To the victims and their families, our thoughts and prayers are with you tonight. We pray that you will remain strong in this time of darkness.
